Welcome to the Viewing Immunization History and Recommendations lesson for the North Carolina Immunization Registry. This lesson is only intended for all User Roles
From the home page, click Manage Client and then search for the client’s record. Click on History/ Recommend
1. 2. This screen is broken up into 3 sections: (1) Client Information (2) History (3)Vaccine Recommended by Selected Tracking Schedule. We’re going to look at the History Section First. 3. • Under the History section is listed all the vaccines that are present in the NCIR for this client. Just because they are not on this screen doesn’t mean they did not receive it, it just means they are not in the NCIR. • Take a few minutes to look at the items listed under the History section.
The Vaccines Recommended by Selected Tracking Schedule function (seen below) makes recommendations based on the client’s age, the history that is in the NCIR, any client comments, and the ACIP tracking schedule. • A green check mark will appear in the box next to the vaccine that is recommended. You can de-select any vaccine by simply clicking on the check mark box until the green check disappears. • Each “due date” is color coded to let you know the optimal time to administer the vaccine- based on it’s recommendations.
