Find and remove duplicate transactions in Xero Find and remove duplicate transactions in Xero Here are two quick ways to check, there is an error in your important statement or not Compare your statement balance of Xero with your actual bank balance it is possible that duplicate transactions will be imported. Refresh the feed of Yodlee to assure that all the balances are up to date.

  3. Cross check the imported statement • If you have over an intersection in Xero this may affect the accuracy. • Firstly select “bank account” in the accounting menu • In which bank account you want to check, click to “manage bank account”

  4. Then click to the bank statement • Now, you will see “showing” click on it. • Then “statement lines” now, select statements. • Compare the start and the end dates to one another to ensure that no transaction is imported twice.

  6. Now choose a date range, now click to update. • If you will spot a duplicate statement or transaction by viewing the transaction of the statement then, click to “date imported into Xero column”.

  7. Tic the checkbox next to the transaction, then select “delete” • Lastly, click to “Delete entire statement” to delete the whole statement.
