Jordan: Jordan’s Health Ministry confirmed on 23rd March 2020, 15 new COVID-19 cases in the region, which makes the total number of confirmed infections 127including the case whose recovery had been announced earlier by the ministry. Also, the Jordan’s Food and Drug Administration authorised its healthcare professionals to use hydroxychloroquine along with an antiviral medicine to treat the Covid-19 virus. Qatar: Ministry of Public Health today announced that the total number of COVID-19 cases in Qatar now stands at 501. Out of which 4 patients have been recovered fully from the virus. The Government of Qatar is taking many steps to contain the spread of coronavirussuch as closing parks and public beaches until further notice. Additionally, since majority of covid-19 cases have been located around the industrial area, outside capital Doha, the area had gone under complete lockdown. Turkey: Since 23rd March 2020, total of 1236 confirmed cases of covid-19 were reported in the turkey of which 30 people have died of the virus. In order to fight the covid-19, the government had decided large-scale production of Turkish hospital respirators. Additionally, appointment of 32,000 new trained healthcare personnel was also done in the turkey.
