Saint Martin. Martin’s parents were not catholic. They were Romans. So Martin became a Roman soldier. One day, when Martin was on duty, he saw a man freezing and shivering. Martin wanted to help this man. So he got his sword and cut his woollen cloak and gave half of it to this poor man.

  3. So Martin became a Roman soldier.

  4. One day, when Martin was on duty, he saw a man freezing and shivering.

  5. Martin wanted to help this man. So he got his sword and cut his woollen cloak and gave half of it to this poor man.

  6. Martin also gave him a bag of food.

  7. On that night, Martin dreamt of Jesus wearing the cloak he gave to that poor man.

  8. Martin left the army and became a priest.
