  3. MED Program • UNC 9 week summer program designed to help with application/matriculation process to medical and dental school for minorities or disadvantaged students • Tips on the process • What they look for: 1/3 grades, 1/3 interview, 1/3 service!! • How to get into program

  4. HON 120 & UNI 292 • It’s time to register for classes! • HON 120: 1 credit seminar, gives opportunities for clinical experience, for students in second semester but can be higher, W 330-430, email Jamie Brenner • UNI 292: 2 credits, gives opportunities for structured civil engagement, for students of sophomore or junior standing, T 930-1045, email Carly Wilson

  5. Collecting today • Over the counter medicines for Tileston - 30 min for 2 bottles • Dawn Dish soap - 30 min for each bottle • Candy for Halloween Carnival - 1 hour for a large bag • Local Dues - $10 • MRF forms and fee • Last call Tshirts - design, colors, sign up!

  6. Halloween Carnival • Monday, October 25, 530 - 8 pm • Ring toss - supplies? • Sign up to sit at our table • Bring bags of candy for an hour towards service hours! • Please sign in with officer who is there • Dress up but please read guidelines!

  7. Volunteer! • Stop Hunger Now - Help package meals on Saturday, November 13; register here • IOC Yard Sale - Nov. 20, 8-12; we need items to sell! Start gathering things around your house and let me know • Adopt-a-Family for Thanksgiving! If we can raise about $50 we can do this - bake sale? Or other fundraiser?
