TERMINAL LEARNING OBJECTIVE At the end of this lesson the student will: Action: Acting as a pilot, complete Department of Defense (DD) Form 175 / Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Form 7233-1 Condition: Given specific information for an actual or simulated flight Standard: In Accordance With (IAW) Department of Defense Flight Information Publications (DOD FLIP), Army Regulation (AR) 95-1, and General Planning (GP).   5. MISSION BRIEF You are an aviator assigned to Ft. Rucker, Al, and have been assigned a mission to fly a VFR cross-country flight from Hanchey AHP (HEY) to Maxwell AFB, (MXF) Montgomery, Al, VIA Troy, Al, (TOI), and return. Your PI for the mission is CW2 William J. Wonka, SSN 400-00-9000. Your aircraft assignment is a TH-67 (B06) tail number N 12345. It is equipped with a mode C transponder. Fuel on board is 3 hours and 2 minutes when departing HEY. Refueling at MXF will require one hour and fuel on board when departing MXF will be 3 hours and 2 minutes. Your flight altitude for the first flight is 4,500 feet, and for the return flight is 3,500 feet. Your estimated TAS is 96 knots for the first flight and 94 knots for the return flight. Enter TAS to be maintained at initial cruising altitude. Entry not required for local flights. Enter the proposed departure time, in Coordinated Universal Time (ZULU). Enter the initial cruising altitude in hundreds of feet. The last fix entered is the point from which the final leg is begun to the destination. Enter “Local” if flight is conducted VFR within the designated local flying area. Enter the location identifier (or installation name if no identifier) of final destination airport. Enter the time from take-off to a position over the destination airport, including known delays. NOTE!
