While Listening, if you use example at the beginning of the section it will familiarize you with the sound, the situation, and the speakers. • Keep on listening untill the recording stops, then look at the questions ralated to that. • You can use the pauses in between to prepare for next questions. • While doing academic reading scan quickly each passage to identify features such as the topic, the style, the likely source, the writer’s purpose and the intended reader.

  3. Don't waste time by trying to understand the precise meaning of the word of phrase. You don't have that much time. • Reading tasks sometimes have an example answer. If this is the case, study it and decide why it is correct. • Check the instructions and try to use your own words if possible. • Also check the word limit and answer accordingly.

  4. Organise and link your ideas and sentences in proper manner. It should look crisp, precise and expressive. • If you write less than 150 words in Task 1 or less than 250 in Task 2 you will lose marks, but there is no maximum number of words for either. • Allow yourself to check your essay in quick manner when its done.

  5. In speaking try to be focus and your views should revole around the topic given.
