History • 2009 Season: one Skyline Varsity Team • 2010 Season: two teams at Oakland Tech • JV boys, and girls; and adopted Skyline team • 2011 Season: JV Boys won NCJLA championship! • 2012 Season: Expanding at Oakland Tech: • OT Varity boys, OT JV boys • OT Girls • Skyline High boys varsity • 2013 Season: hopefully adding girls to Skyline High

History • “Skyline Lacrosse Club H.S.” = • Oakland Tech Lacrosse Club plus Skyline High Lacrosse Club • Joint effort between schools and local youth lacrosse club: “Skyline Lacrosse Club.” • SLC serves youth in Piedmont and Oakland • Provides our access to the league we play in, “NCJLA” • Non-profit status, and bank account • So remember to always write checks to • “Skyline Lacrosse Club HS”

  8. Season Dates • Practices start Dec/Jan/Feb depending… • Evaluations early February • Some scrimmages/tournaments in February • League games start • Boys: last weekend of February • Girls: first weekend of March • Games end before Memorial Day weekend

  9. Player Requirements • US Lacrosse membership • Some overpaid, will be refunded $35 • Code of Conduct • Medical release • OUSD students: • Participation Physical Evaluation • Health Statement/Insurance/Parent Consent • On Oakland Tech website under Athletics/Forms • Maintain minimum 2.0 GPA
