Things you should know about Greystone • Greystone daily life reflects a cadet/midshipman’s life at the academies • There’s a lot of oversight from staff • To earn an appointment, students must receive a nomination from either their congressman or senators • Personal testimonies from parents, friends, and former Greystoners are our biggest marketing asset

  19. Weekly Grade Report Student fills out form by squad Reviewed by Squad Academic Representative Reviewed by Class Academic Coordinator Academic Coordinator exports grades into Excel Spreadsheet Spreadsheet is presented to the Greystone Deputy Director

Emergency Contact Information • Has everything you need to know about a student • Name, address, parents’ names, stepparents’ names • Info can be exported into Excel document • Excel document used for Mail Merge • Use Mail Merge when sending out recruiting materials because Parents are one of our best selling points!

  24. Congressional & Senatorial Information • Similar process as Emergency Contact Information form • Transforms the form into a recruiting/marketing tool!

  26. Just a Few Things • Log Books in addition to forms • Ability to collaborate on documents • Admissions capabilities

  27. Log Books • Would replace the forms “PT Logs” and “Study Logs” • Better format for the function • Input information on a weekly basis instead of daily • Based on weekly collection of logs

  28. Collaborate on documents • Specifically for the Administration and our Admissions needs • Replaces the land-locked “Server” • Anywhere/Anytime

  29. Admissions Capabilities • Each prospective student has their own “portal” • Store all relevant files • Keep track of correspondence • Track missing and completed tasks – application, resumes, essays, etc. • Every staff member can make notes on a candidate
