If it is not in the knowledge domain, then it does not exist as a possibility. • I think the system begins with goals, and ends when the wisdom says that the goals are achievable by best practice (optimum, can find no better). • The shaded part represents the GDSS technology implementation. • The unshaded parts rest within the mind, or on paper. • Is there ever really a finish in this paradigm? • Perhaps Knowledge should point to Goals, which are then used to derive wisdom and FPs. • It’s very hard to say how the arrows should point, particularly after arriving at knowledge, and up to imagination. Mind CONSOLIDATE KNOWLEDGE Wisdom Fundamental Principle Goals GUI Knowledge SURF The mind is kind of like a meka model. It’s a model about models. It brings forth virtual meka-knowledge by imagining an extension of an existing knowledge domain space through creation of an imaginary (virtual) model to create the virtual knowledge. The mind can not create virtual-wisdom, because it is impossible to consolidate virtual meka-knowledge, which is patchy at best over an “unknown” domain-space. Only pieces of the domain space are “imagined”. One would need to imagine an entire virtual meka-knowledge domain space that could be virtually surfed, learned, and then virtually consolidated into virtual wisdom. Can’t be done.
