Artemis (Diana) • Cynthia birthplace • Apollo's twin sister; daughter if Zeus and Leto • one of the three maiden goddess of Olympus • lady of the Wild Things, Huntsman - Chief to the gods (odd office for a woman) • "protectress of dewy youth " • another story - fierce and revengeful • Artemis is identified with Hecate • goddess with three forms • Selene - sky, Artemis - earth, Hecate - lower world • Hecate - goddess of the Dark of the Moon • Cypress - sacred, all wild animals, deer ESP.

Hermes (Mercury) • Zeus - father and Maia, daughter of Atlas • Zeus 's Messenger • of all the gods he was the most shrewdest and most cunning ( he was the Master Thief) • God of Commerce and Market protector of traders • the Divine Herald who led the souls down to their last home • he appears oftener in the tales of mythology than any other god
