  1. Dental Implant Courses A dental implant, or tooth root replacement, is a surgical procedure that involves inserting a metal post into the bone of a patient’s jaw. The post serves as the tooth’s root and, when paired with a prosthesis, provides a strong foundation for restoring partial or complete teeth. There are various types of dental implants. They differ mainly in shape, material and surface. These factors play an important role in the selection of an implant system by dentists and patients. EU MDR and Proactive PMS The EU MDR is a European Union regulation that aims to minimize the risks posed by medical devices (medical devices are defined as "things that can be inserted into the human body"). Dental implant courses are class IIb devices. In order to prevent and monitor device safety, the MDR requires dental implant manufacturers to perform risk assessments and collect data on their devices after they’ve been introduced to the market. This can be done through surveys among end users, registries and specialist groups or by Post-Market Clinical Follow-up studies. CIRP - Advanced Implant Surgery Training Course The CIRP course offers advanced training on all aspects of surgical implant dentistry, with emphasis on live patient care and mentored surgical experience. The small class-size allows every student to get personal attention and practical education from experienced faculty.
