  • To convert a 1991 BMW 318iS and 1987 Merkur XR4Ti from a vane-style air meter to a modern mass-flow measuring system.

  • Develop a product that can be sold for profit.

  • Design a system to convert, and condition as necessary, the signal from a MAF sensor to the equivalent one from a VAM sensor at given flow conditions.

  • Take MAF output, and digitally convert output values to equivalent ones from VAM.
