Introduction to SSC Examination In this competitive world where everyone is trying his / her best to secure a prestigious and fruitful position in society, getting a government job is like half work done. SSC conducts CGLE i.e. Combined Graduate Level Exam every year for 30 posts in central government. CGL exam is well known competitive exam across India. Students after completing their graduation start preparing for CGL exam. Around 8 lakhs student appear every year for this exam. Mathematics – 25 Questions – 50 Marks B. Reasoning – 25 Questions – 50 Marks C. General Knowledge – 25 Questions – 50 Marks D. English language and comprehension – 25 Questions – 50 Marks

Tier II exam includes: Paper 1: Mathematics – 100 Questions – 200 Marks Paper 2: English language and comprehension – 200 Questions – 200 Marks Tier III exam includes: Descriptive language Test (Hindi/English) – 100 Marks Note:Tier I –Question paper will carry 100 questions of 200 marks. All the questions are of multiple choice natures. Duration of the exam is 1 hour and negative marking of 0.50 marks is applied on each wrong answer. Tier II- Both papers will be of 2 hours duration. Negative marking of one forth will also be applied on each wrong answer.
