  2. State The Problem • What kind of chocolate do I have?

  3. Formulate The Hypothesis • I think my candy is caramel.

  4. Identify & Control The Variables • Variables =The piece of candy Control = look at it, smell it, cant taste it, you can touch it.

  5. Test Your Hypothesis • I am going to break it open to see what flavor it is.

  6. Collect Your Data • It is thick and stringy. It is brown. It is also soft and squishy.

  7. Interpret Your Data • I think it is caramel because it smells, feels, like caramel to and it looks

  8. State Your Conclusion • I think it is caramel flavor.
