Globally,42million peoplearecurrentlylivingwiththedisease.Since2012,1.2million peoplehavedied,and 2.3millionnewcaseshavebeenreported acrosstheglobe. Thereareapproximately1.2millionpeopleliving withHIV/AIDSintheUnited States.Ofthose,approximately240,000areunawareof theirHIV-positive status.Todate,nearly300,000womenareincluded inthehorrificnumberof thoseafflicted.In spiteof theheadwaybeing made,infectionratesareincreasingrapidly.AfricanAmericans, Gayand Bi-SexualMenofall ethnicitiesand Latinosarethehardest-hitdemographics. Throughourmarketing efforts,over500,000,000people will bereachedthroughRadio,TV and theWorld-WideWeb.Weanticipate10,000attendeeswill participateintheactivities,including4,000plus people who will gettested forthefirst time.
