Monterey, CA, July 11, 2018 — Seniors, active duty military, veterans, college students, and children all get their special days at the Monterey County Fair, set for Aug. 30-Sept. 3, 2018, at the Monterey County Fair & EventCenter. Special days at the fairincludes: Seniors’Day Thursday, August30 62 and better, free from 11 a.m.-3p.m. The fair opens at 11 a.m. (one hour earlier) on Seniors Day for seniors only. A Seniors Faire willbe held intheSeasideRoomfrom11 a.m.-3p.m.Collegestudentswillpayonly $5after5p.m. Military and Veteran’s Appreciation Day Friday, August31 Military,veteransandtheirdependentsadmittedfreewithvalidID.A Veterans Connect Fairewillbe held in the Seaside Room from noon to3 p.m. Junior LivestockAuction 10 a.m. Saturday, September1 FiestaDay Sunday, September2 KidsDay Monday, September3 Kids under 12 admitted free allday FairHours: Thursday-Sunday: 12 to 11p.m. Monday: 12 to 10p.m.
