A love of ritual has drawn me to put forward this unique offering.  One hour is dedicated to a relaxation acupuncture treatment. 5. Included Services Chinese Cupping Therapy For relaxation or therapy, cupping is a traditional form of healing used across many cultures.  It is usually applied through the heating of stationary glass cups to suction against a patient’s abdomen, back or limbs.  The suction will draw the underlying tissue into the jar.  Other times, a practitioner may choose to glide the cup over oiled body parts so it produces a steady tension as it’s moving.  Cupping can leave dark red or purple marks, which is an indication of the level of blood stasis or toxins.   The marks will disappear within a few days to a couple of weeks.  Commonly used to treat: Respiratory conditions; bronchitis, asthma, congestion, common cold Arthritis, muscular tension, back pain Gastrointestinal disorders, menstrual discomfort

  6. Micro Needling for Healthy Skin The Dermapen 3MD™ is the latest Micro Needling technology designed to tighten, lift and rejuvenate skin. Safer and more effective in piercing the skin than traditional skin needling rollers Has a superior effect on collagen and elastin rejuvenation Effectively treat hard-to-reach places Promotes scar-less healing and natural collagen reproduction Prevent the appearance of aging skin Reduce fine lines and wrinkles Inspired by acupuncture needles, the Dermapen is an evolution from cosmetic needling devices such as rollers.  Each cartridge holds twelve tiny needles which stimulate collagen production through the skin’s natural wound healing response.  This is a wonderful technology for men and women to consider.

  7. Squamish Dermapen Treatments I am excited to be adding Dermapen micro-needling treatments to my practice.  This non-invasive  procedure is a wonderful way to naturally keep your skin looking fresh.  Taking care of your exterior can be just as important as the inside; diet, exercise, sleep and stress-management.  When we look good, we feel good. Exposure to the elements can take its toll on skin.  Dermapen sessions induce collagen production in the skin while nourishing it with hyaluronic acid and vitamins.  Find out about all the ways the Dermapen 3 can help you. Wednesdays I am available to see clients for micro-needling treatments in Squamish.  Other days may also be an option.  Please note all appointments must be booked in advance, email me for questions and bookings.

  8. Aleksandra Wroblewska Aleksandra Wroblewska spent her youth in the coastal community of Prince Rupert, B.C, exposed to the beauty of the temperate rainforest, ocean, mountains, and the healing effects of nature. Aleksandra came to Traditional Chinese Medicine early in life through profound personal experience, and was fortunate to find healthcare practitioners who reached beyond her surface concerns. During a prolonged period as a child and teen, acne became a concern which led to strong prescription medication. After three months of monitoring liver enzymes through blood testing and experiencing harsh side effects, there was no relief.  Under the direction of a holistic practitioner an understanding surfaced around the importance of healthy eating and emotional counselling.  A few years later; three rounds of antibiotics, a steady stream of cough suppressants and co-workers complaining about an annoying bark of a cough for over three months, herbal medicine came to the rescue and resolved chronic bronchitis nearly overnight.
