  6. Citizenship Rights, responsibilities, pride, hope, being a good neighbor and caring about others.

  7. Culture Holidays, traditions, and stories; foods, customs, and celebrations.

  8. Science, Technology, and Society Inventions, computers, and ideas. Technology has changed the way people live together in the world.

  9. Social Studies Skills Many special skills are needed to learn about the world around us.
