  1. 2016 Santa`s Fun Run December 11th 11:30 a.m. at Dome Square !

Why we run for the 9th time? • To proactively do our part in bettering the lives of those in need in our society; • To engage other members of society in participating in an event which improves the place where they live by helping mothers of disabled children. • The goal of the charity Run is to raise 10 000 Eur in order to contribute to improving the lives of mothers who care for their disabled children. We encourage your company to donate and participate in this event while engaging employees in meaningful teambuilding!

  3. What is Santa’s Fun Run Goal? Hundreds of Latvian families with seriously ill children; Only hope are their parents and relatives -all daily care routines like washing, physical handling, and medical attention; Many families are unable to afford a professional health care provider.One of the parents must be employed and the other remains homecaretaker (mother) rarely leaves the house –No time to do things for herself or even errands for the family; Latvian government has not intervened and there are no options for families to receive reimbursement; In order for the mother to provide better care for her seriously ill child, she needs support. This would be possible through having an assistant, who is a professional health care;Enable her to have a little free time, which could be used for relaxation - visiting doctors, psychologists, spending time with others or the healthy baby; The cost of this monthly service for one nurse is 206 euros (taxes included); Therefore, we invite you to support mothers in receiving professional health care services for their seriously ill children- by means of nannies or nurses! The goal of the charity Run is to raise 10 000 Eur in order to contribute to improving the lives of 42 mothers who care for their disabled childrens. We encourage your company to donate and participate in this event while engaging employees in meaningful teambuilding!
