International Operations Related • Support RAST 2007 in Istanbul and follow up • Support HONET 2007 (Nov) in Dubai; Organized One AESS session on Nano-Technology and made a presentation on “System of Systems” • Supporting organizing ICAST 2008 in Islamabad (Second arranged by AESS chapter) • Pursuing efforts for AESS Chapter in Region 9; Dr Saj Durrani visited prospective student chapter in Columbia, South Brazil AESS membership reaching critical mass; Invitations for Systems Engineering presentations in Honduras by IEEE chapter • Organized and attended one of the two International Directors meeting in Hong Kong come up with recommendations for strategic planning of AESS international operations. (Dr Bill Lyons will report) • Organized a very successful Houston System of Systems Seminar with key presentations on various SoS disciplines. (For Proceeding CD request- Contact Z.Taqvi@ieee.org)
