(1) Overview (概观) • Previous Week and Current Week: • Continue to transfer the twenty-eight scenarios into the new Input sheet format (持续完成输入矩阵填写及计算成套率) • Incorporated Feasibility check into the optimization algorithm (建立优化算法中的可行性分析) • Implement start and ending time equation into optimization. (建立优化算法中的开始/结束时间的算法) • Next Week: • Fix technical issues on optimization. (修正优化技术问题)

(2) Optimization Update (优化更新) • Feasibility check has been converted into inequalities that will ensure that the results are optimized as well as feasible. • Starting and ending time equations have also been included in the algorithm. • Currently, we are in the process of optimizing the scenario 10N which is in the new input sheet format. • Since the KPI equation (as shown last week) has been established through the older version of the input sheet, the neural network cannot correctly predict the KPI value for the scenario being optimized (actual value 112, predicted value 62).

  4. Due to this reason, the optimization algorithm is unable to find a feasible solution. • In order to fix this problem, the placements of the work orders will be changed so that they are similar to those in the previous input sheet format.

  5. Meeting Agenda for May (五月会议议程) • Day 1: Visit the shop floor. (第一天) • Talk about the benefits of using and optimization algorithm for the purpose of scheduling. (讨论相关排程优化算法的好处) • Present a scenario that has a KPI before and after optimization. (提出一个优化方案，比较输出指标) • Day 2: Visit the SEAS research facility. (第二天) • Update the SEAS research group on the Neural Network algorithm, Feasibility code, and the Optimization algorithm. (更新讨论MATLAB的编码：人工神经网路算法，可行性分析算法，优化算法) • Technical details about the optimization algorithm, creating constraints for the optimization algorithm, and discuss the plan for the next 6 months. (讨论相关技术细节，优化算法的约束条件，讨论未来六个月的计划)
