Registration scenario for HL77xx/HL78xx To perform a network registration on LTE Signaling 1 or NB-IoT signaling: - Setup the appropriate frequency band: - To activate/deactivate the eMTC Cell, right click on « LTE Signaling » or « NB-IoT Signaling » in the vertical menu and select « ON » or « OFF ». -If needed, reset the DUT -Synchronisation should be operated between DUT and the simulated network. The status should be indicated in the Connection status, and if DUT is registered, the display should be as follows: Proprietary and Confidential 6

CMW500 Call Box – Save and Recall configuration • Press on « SAVE RCL » button at the left side or « SAVE » from the floating menu(remote). • Default folder to store configuration is loaded • Select « Save » • A generic file will be saved into the current folder. It can be renamed by using the menu at the bottom • Existing configuration may be loaded by selecting the file and then « Recall » button Proprietary and Confidential 27

CMW500 Call Box – Restart and Shutdown If a restart is needed, press on « SYS » button at the front left Desktop windows will be displayed with two shortcuts for Restart and Shutdown After 30s, the CMW500 will restart after shutdown • • • Each time the CMW500 is restarted, ensure that the IP address for LAN remote did not change (cf next slide) • Proprietary and Confidential 28

CMW500 Call Box – Troubleshooting If the device can not attach to the CMW500 network, check the following points: • In the configuration, ensure that « eMTC » is ticked • Appropriate test SIM card should be used • Supported band is selected • The device is correctly calibrated • The firmware supports the band selected • RAT is correctly selected Sometimes, a restart of the device/CMW500 fixes a connection issue such as « EPS bearer failure » Proprietary and Confidential 30
