Disney • For the kids it was all about fun • From the moment I walked in through the gates – there was something else going on • This was the most professionally run organisation I had ever seen • Why? • Management of huge numbers of people coming through gates • Disney bus system the best public transport system I have ever seen anywhere in the world • Much more than a family holiday for me - www.roq.net.au -

I did not encounter one unhappy/rude staff member • All about the customer experience • Not one piece of litter – toilets immaculate • Commitment by everyone and real pride in the work that they do • Why can’t all organisations be this well run? • Don’t shut yourself off from learning/leadership/team experiences – they are everywhere - www.roq.net.au -

Steer them in the right direction • Everyone can be replaced…..or can they? • Identify talent and nurture it • Retain talented people • Find opportunity for those less talented - www.roq.net.au -
