  1. Isaac Merritt Singer Isaac Merritt Singer was born in Hamlet of Johnsonville in the town Pittstown Renselor county. He was born on October 27, 1811. He died in July 23, 1875. He invented the first electronically working sewing machine. Isaac sold the sewing machine for $10. Isaac made the sewing machine to make sewing faster and it is easier

  2. Inventor Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach The creation of the dirt bike was first started by Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach. when they altered the existing motorcycle designs. The dirt bike was not really was invented but bikes transformed to ride off road. Motorcycles were made to perform on roads and off roads. There is not one person who can admit that they really invented the dirt bike. The first dirt bike was made by Yamaha DT-1 model. This model could be ridden in any terrain and could be taken anywhere. It was made in the late 1950s,early 1960s. Gottlieb was born in 1834 he died in 1900. Wilhelm was born in 1846 he died in 1929.

  3. Frank Epperson In 1905 Frank Epperson was mixing powered soda and water to make a soda pop frank accidentally left the mixing bucket outside. During the night the mixture froze solid with the wooden suturing stick in it standing straight up . But the soda pop tasted great Frank Epperson started selling these for 5 cents each. He changed the name to popsicles. some people think they taste bad.

  4. Herman Affel Herman Affel invented cable. He was born on August 4,1893 and died on October 13,1972 at the age of 79. He went to MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). Herman worked at Bell Laboratories. His middle name is Andrew (Herman Andrew Affel). Cable was invented in 1948. Cable was invented because places that weren’t able to receive TV signals. How it improved life is that the point of it is so we can have some entertainment. One interesting fact is that he was inducted into the National Hall of Fame. One con is sometimes you get services and sometimes you don’t.

  5. Humphry Davy Humphry Davy invented the very first light bulb. He used electroyalisis to discover potassium, sodium, barium, strontium, calcium, and magnesium. He lived in 1778 – 1829. He was born December 17, 1778 and died May 29, 1829. He started school in Truro and ended in the Medical Pneumatic Institution in Bristol. Humphry was a chemist and inventor. Cool flames were accidentally found by Humphry Davy in 1817. To make cool flames it has to be at temps as low as 120 degrees Celsius and have fuel air chemically reacts and makes cool flames. He made a very useful invention, he made the light bulb. Humphry invented the light bulb in 1800. It was originally intended to help safety in coal mines. Humphry Davys’ dad died in 1794 he left 5 children to Humphry. It improved life by not making it as easy to burn as a candle. One con is you have to keep changing it.

  6. Alexander Graham Bell Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. He made it to where you don’t have to walk up to them/house you can just call them. The bad thing about it is that some people don’t get service. He was interested in deaf. He got the idea because his mom and wife were both deaf. He upgraded it in 1884 to where you can talk to somebody in Ney York City and you can be in Boston or Massachusetts. He invented one of the most useful invention of all time. He was a teacher/inventor.

  7. Tollhouse Crunch Cookies (chocolate chip cookies) Ruth Wakefield Ruth Wakefield, the inventor of the chocolate chip cookies, was born in 1905. She grew up to be a dietician and food lecturer after graduating from Framingham State Normal School Department of Household Arts in 1924. Ruth had a husband named Kenneth Wakefield and she bought a tourist lodge named the Tollhouse Inn. That’s where she prepared the recipes for meals that were served to inn guests. 1930 was when Wakefield was mixing a batch of cookies for roadside inn guests when she found out she was out of baker’s chocolate. Ruth Wakefield substituted broken pieces of Nestle's Semi-sweet chocolate expecting it to melt into the cookies. But that didn’t happen instead she accidentally invented chocolate chip cookies. Ruth called them Tollhouse Crunch cookies. Who knew an accident can turn into a sweet desert?! But one con is that if you eat too many your stomach will hurt. Ruth Graves Wakefield

  8. Robert Adler Robert Adler invented the remote control in 1956. Robert Adler was born in Vienna, Austria 1913, and was successfully educated at the university of Vienna. He started at age 24 in his academic career. Robert Adler died of heart failure in 2007. Robert Adler’s colleague Eugene, Polley tried to make a version of the remote control, but if you had a well lit room it would change channels on its own! In 1956 the remote control was introduced as the “Zenith space command.” The early remotes were about the size of a paper back book, with only two buttons a volume switch, and channel switch. The remote made life easier because you don’t have to get up to switch channels. It made life worse because people started getting lazy.

  9. Ole Kirk Chrisrianse Ole Kirk the master carpenter and joiner in the village of Billund Denmark sets up business. Ole Kirk was an inventor of most popular construction set in the world. Legos were made in 1932 . They were only sold in Denmark. Legos make kids happy.

  10. Horace Mann Horace Mann an educator and president of a collage .Who came up with the idea of a fully organized schools in the year 1837.Horace Mann invented school . His birthday is 4th of May . He lived I the 1800 . His invention is school .It was invented for kids to get education . It improved to make kids learn and to get education for the kids .One con is that people thank it is boring .A good thing is that it helps you learn .

  11. Egyptians The Egyptians were the first people to ever make marshmallows. It was invented at the time of early Egyptians. It was first invented as a medicine to stop coughing and heal wounds, later in the 19th century they made it a sweet candy. Did you know that Americans purchase 90 million pounds of marshmallows annually? To me marshmallows help my life by giving me something sweet to eat. The only bad thing about marshmallows is that they cause cavities.

It was invented in 1797 It was invented because people were tired of looking at the stars, so Eli invented the clock. He said it would take a long time to make, but the people said they didn't care. It helped us by to tell time better. Some clocks spin out of central.

  13. Salvino D’ Armate Ever wonder who invented glasses? Well they were invented in Italy around 1268 – 1284 by a man named Salvino D’ Armate. The earliest glasses did not have arms and glasses with arms were not invented until 1752. Nearsighted glasses weren't invented till 1400s and because the single lens glasses were invented those led to bifocals, double lens glasses. Even know Salvino invented glasses a monk named Alessandro Spina is usually credited. Glasses help us see so we make sure we don’t crash but sometimes they hurt your nose and ears so you should never where someone else’s glasses. That was how glasses were invented.

  14. Joan Pemberton Joan is a pharmacist that once was making a medicine for him self and he tasted it and he named coke. The soft drink was first sold to the public at the soda fountain in Jacobs pharmacy In Atlanta on May,8 1886. Coke a cola is a very popular soda. It was a accident. Coke makes so many different beverages that if you drank one a day it would take 9 years to drink them all. How did it improve life. If you drink to much of it you might have a sugar rush!!!

  15. Garrett Augustus Morgan The inverter Garrett Augustus Morgan was a African Americanthe gas mask can filter air to make it clean to breath. Garrett Augustus was born in March 4,1877 he was a businessman/inventor he had a 5th grade education. One fact about Garrett is he dropped out of 5th grade. Gas mask. It was invented in 1914 it was to invented to save miners from noxious mines. One unique fact about the gas mask is it used in the air force. The gas mask improved live by making it easy to breath where there is areas like Chernobyl. one con is gas masks are it is hard to see throw.
