  1. LimBoSeng He was born in Fujian, China. He owned a biscuit factory and a brick manufacturing factories in Singapore. On 11 February 1942, Lim Bo Seng left his family to continue his work against the Japanese in Malaya. Lim Bo Seng recruited and trained many men to help him. He also leave the jungle to spy on the Japanese in the cities and obtain food and medicine for his men. In March 1944, Lim Bo Seng and four other members of Force 136 were captured in Malaya and were imprisoned. The Japanese tortured him but he refused to give any information about Force 136. He was seen sharing food with other prisoners. He fell ill due to the lack of food. In June 1944, he died.
