  5. Life cycle Sharks give live birth Skates and rays lay eggs After birth(eggs/live birth),then guppies After guppies they grow to be adult& the cycle starts again

  6. How they breathe They all, skates, rays, & sharks breathe through gills witch separate oxygen from water

  7. Body covering All have rough skin it is like sand paper It has tiny teeth on it’s skin

  8. reproducing Sharks give live birth Rays/skates lay eggs This is a sting ray egg pouch

  9. Special body parts Sharks have a dorsal fin Rays have poison stingers on the end of their tail Sharks have 2 rows of saw-like teeth Rays & skates have spiracles

  10. Other interesting facts Did you know that there are more than 350 kinds of sharks. Some are bigger than 5 trucks. Most sharks hunt by satilite movement in the water, this means it can feel movements in the water.
