This initiative aims to build services around children, support parents, and promote opportunity through a cross-government policy. Progress includes Local Area Agreements, children's centers, and extended school services to enhance child well-being. Efforts focus on systemic reform, cultural change, and practitioner capacities, motivations, and skills development. Future plans include a Children in Care White Paper, a Children's Workforce Strategy Refresh, and the implementation of the Vetting & Barring Scheme and Contactpoint.
