  1. The Key Players We Think Will Outperform At The 2023 World Cup Tournament ICC's biggest cricketing event, World Cup 2023, commenced on 5th October and so far, 10 fantastic matches have been played all across India. India is riding solo as the host for the 13th edition of the ongoing tournament and a total of 48 enticing matches are lined up to be held at the momentous stadiums in India. Repeating the format of the previous edition, 10 teams have qualified to play for this year's trophy; India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Netherlands, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and England. Each team was given the deadline of 28th September to name their 15-member squad, ahead of the World Cup tournament. All participating teams have chosen the crème de la crème players to represent their team on Indian grounds- a mix of major experienced players, while putting faith in some of the newer talents. With that being stated, here are the players we think will outshine this World Cup season! Cricketers To Look Out For At The 2023 World Cup The 13th edition of the tournament commenced with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm among all the teams and their fans alike. With the finals being almost a month away (it will be held on 17th November, 2023), we are placing our bets on these top-notch players to exhibit their top skills at the tournament. Rachin Ravindra, New Zealand New Zealand's star all-rounder Rachin Ravindra is the one to look out for! The 23-year-old left-arm spinner is new to the World Cup scene and is already performing like a star! During the inaugural match on 5th October, Rachin exhibited his rising star status by scoring the fastest century by a New zealand player by registering 123 runs off 96

  2. balls! He became the 4th New Zealand player to register a century on his World Cup debut and therefore, won the first match comfortably! During a match against Netherlands, he again played beautifully and smashed a half-century (51 runs!). Quinton de Kock, South Africa The talented South African batter, Quinton de Kock, made quite the impact with his performance at the previous World Cup edition where he racked up 3 half centuries and finished the tournament by scoring 305 runs from 8 important matches. For the current tournament, the 30-year-old has outdone himself! In the opening match against Sri Lanka, he scored the perfect century in 84 balls! Showing no signs of stopping anytime soon, he scored his second consecutive century by adding 109 runs to his ODI tally, in a match against Australia! Will he historically register another World Cup hat trick in the upcoming match against the Netherlands team? Guess we'll find out soon! Virat Kohli, India King Kohli's charismatic batting style has made him one of the most revered and respected cricket stars of all time. Ever since his debut in 2008, Virat has racked up multiple records in his career and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. Just this year, she smashed 3 centuries and is on his way to breaking Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar's record of 49 ODI centuries. Imagine if he does that during the Ind Vs. Pak, it would be so iconic! He was also a part of the 2011 World Cup series where Men in Blue won their second (and last) trophy. Rashid Khan: Afghanistan Afghanistan's Rashid Khan is regarded as one of the best bowlers of our generation, especially in the T20 format. Rashid, who made his debut in 2015 at just 17 years

  3. old has established himself as a globally recognized cricketer and is definitely one of Afghanistan's finest. The fast-paced leg-spinner has dismissed a total of 336 wickets in all formats and is expected to add some more important dismissals to that tally. His baffling googlies and ability to smash boundaries in a high-pressure situation has made him one of the mainstay Afghan players. No wonder he is one of the best (and youngest) captains at just 25 years old! Ben Stokes, England Ben Stokes' return from retirement sent the cricketing fans into a frenzy, for all the right reasons. Ben, who had announced his retirement from the ODI format of the game last year on 18th July, 2022, made his iconic comeback this year! In just 124 balls, he clubbed 182 runs- breaking Jason Roy's record of 180 runs and registering it as the highest ODI score by an English player in a one-day format! After being named in the 15-member squad for the ongoing World Cup tournament, fans are sure that the 32-year-old all-rounder batter will once again impress the onlookers and spectators with his awe-worthy performances.
