Ticket to Work and Work Incentives and Improvement Act • Signed into law by President Clinton in 1999 • Purposes • Provide health care and employment preparation and placement services • Encourage states to enable beneficiaries to purchase necessary Medicaid coverage • Provide Medicare coverage while employed • Establish the Ticket to Work Program

  4. Service Provider Roles • Increase the number of beneficiaries • Assist the beneficiary in becoming self-sufficient • Provide the community with access to newly identified and dedicated workforce
