Status • Changes: • Not many • WG draft • Some more applications • Grouping of applications • Some re-wording • Currently covers considerations for following applications: • Accounting • Security analysis and intrusion detection • Network Planning • Peering Agreements • Traffic Engineering • Data Warehousing and Mining • Network monitoring (e.g. application/user profiles, QoS) draft-ietf-ipfix-as-00.txt

  4. Status • Relation to other frameworks • AAA • How to use IPFIX within AAA architecture • How to work together with DIAMETER • IPFIX as Input for • Accounting record generation • QoS auditing • RTFM • Differences and commonalities • Consideration for middleboxes • IPFIX with NAT, firewalls, etc. draft-ietf-ipfix-as-00.txt

  5. TODO and Open Issues • More details on scenarios • Based on new architecture, info model and protocol draft • Use of optional features • Proposed extensions • Further parts • Include IPFIX-PSAMP relations ? • Include part on content-aware analysis/billing • Further relations ? • Middlebox part  Reinaldos slides • Describes architectural considerations • Specific definition of IPFIX behavior • Move to architecture ? • Separate draft ? draft-ietf-ipfix-as-00.txt
