  2. In 2012 only 9 states legalized same-sex marriage. In 2015 only 15 states have not legalized same-sex marriage. In the summer of 2015 the Supreme Court could make a ruling legalizing same-sex marriage across the U.S. This emergence is no accident, it has been planned for years.

  4. 5 facts about the Modern Family Americans are putting off life’s big milestones. Today, an American woman, on average, is expected to have 1.9 children. Some 3 million (37% of) lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender adults have had a child at some point in their lives. Families today are more blended and differently constructed. Intermarriage among people of different races is increasingly common. In 1980, just 7% of all marriages in the U.S. were between spouses of a different race or ethnicity.

  14. Discussion Guide: 9. What point was Paul making to the Corinthians in (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)? Paul was addressing the Corinthian Christians and encouraging them to not practice ungodly things like the non-believers.

  16. Discussion Guide: 11. Paul states that homosexuality is on a long list of sins in (1 Timothy 1:9-10) that is contrary to sound teaching. Why does homosexuality seem to be singled out in our society? It’s a main agenda item in our society and is getting full court pressure from those supporting it.

  18. Share examples of relatives, friends or associates who might fall into the categories in the case studies. (No names please.) Share how you have reacted to a particular situation. If you took a stand for the Christian lifestyle, did it affect your relationship? Pray for the strength to show the love of Christ this coming week.
