  1. Status ReportQMD and Low Energy Neutron developments SLAC / SCCS Koi, Tatsumi

  2. QMD related • V9.2 and 9.2p01 have energy conservation problem which pointed out by Vladimir last meeting. • Fix is included the latest tag. • Alpha production cross sections is lower than expected. (G4Evaproation is better than GEM, but still lower.) • Glauber type calculation for high-energy AA interactions now testing • Independent interactions between projectile nucleon and target nuclues.

  3. Neutron related • Q-value problems due to mass table in Geant4. • At 9.2p01 fix for light ions (D, T, He3, Alpha) • New mass table based on AME03 • A bug in emission of Internal Converted Electrons is pointed out. Fix will be inculde. • The data for Zinc of natural abundance will be added to G4NDL from ENDF VII • Brass become caluclatable • Argon data in G4NDL will be update • G4ENDL project resumed.

  4. Abstract for Geant4 Space Users Workshop • Recent Developments in QMD model and low energy neutron models of Geant4. • Developments in QMD model and low energy neutron model since the last Space Users’ Workshop will be presented. These developments include bug-fixes, improvements in conservation and extension of functionality of current QMD and low energy neutron model (NeutronHP models). Updated validation results will be shown. A Galuber type calculation of high-energy nucleus-nucleus collisions with Geant4 String models is also studied and some result from this effort also will be presented. The status of new data driven models which based on ENDL library also be reported.
