My Learning Quest By Sam Marsden
My time at the Centre… • I have enjoyed meeting and becoming friends with Ben, Joe, Paul, Natalie. • I have enjoyed working with Mrs Hogg and Miss Overend because they are really nice and Miss Overend does funny • accents on the bus.
What I have improved on… • I have improved a lot on my reading – I was the first one in my class to complete all 600 keywords that Mrs Hogg gave me!!! • My spellings have got better and I feel like a mnemonics king – they help me a lot.
What I need to work on in the future…. • I feel that I need to continue working on improving my handwriting, Miss Overend always reminds me about making my letters tall. • I also need to work on using punctuation marks – like commas, capital letters in correct places.
What I recommend for new pupils…. • Have fun and trust the teachers as they guide you through the year. • Look forward to mini breakfasts when you have done lots of hard work and different funny games to help with your reading and spelling.
My time at the Centre… • I will miss the Centre a lot, I have had a really happy, fun time working here and gained new skills to take back to class. • I will miss the teachers and my friends who have helped me this year.
