Additional charges are not included in this list. • Looking Glass Estates Assisted Living is not responsible for any lost or stolen items • You are able to individualize your apartment as you would your own home. • Persons unable to furnish their own belongings, items will be furnished for you.

  6. Additional Charges Second Occupant: Suite$585.00 Guest Meals and Additional Meals for Tenants: Continental Breakfast $2.00/ea. Hot Breakfast $3.00/ea. Lunch $4.00/ea. Evening Meal $5.00/ea. Special Meal (Holiday) $5.00/ea. Room Service $5.00/ea.

  7. Housekeeping Service: Basic Housekeeping includes: Apartments-wipe down mini-blinds and clean bath floors once each month. Weekly housekeeping includes vacuuming of carpets, cleaning of bathroom such as cleaning of toilet, shower, sink and counters and dusting. Beds will be stripped once a week and made at that time. It is up to you to make your bed on the other days. Trash will be emptied once a week. THERE IS NOT ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR BASIC HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE. Housekeeping, Additional $10.00/hour

  8. If you are planning a social activity such as a family gathering or a card club, and do not want to cook any snacks, Looking Glass Estates offers a catering service.

  9. Looking Glass Estates was funded by a grant given to the City of Genoa for the purpose of building an assisted living center. This gift to the City of Genoa from the State of Nebraska will increase the assets of the revenue to the Medical Facility will be used to create a more financially sound medical facility. Looking Glass Estates will be one of the few assisted living centers in the nation that is not only attached to a long term care facility but also to a hospital, and has, as part of the medical facility, a clinic complete with a physician and two physician assistants. The Wellness Center at the hospital will also be part of the attraction to our assisted living. This is a wonderful way to deliver complete health care options to the area.

  10. The concept of assisted living is to provide an atmosphere much like home with assistance to meet the health care needs of the tenants. The focus will be on wellness of the individual. Exercises, blood pressure monitoring, weight monitoring and diabetic teaching are some examples of services available at Looking Glass Estates. We have also included exercises for the mind in our services. A computer is available for the tenants to use with Internet usage. A library will also be available in the private dining room for tenants to use. A concept of life time learning will be encouraged and assistance for the tenants to meet their individual goals will be given.
