  17. SAGE III vs. SCIAMACHY limb Scattering (NO2) SCIAMACHY NO2 Processed by Chris Sioris (Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory) -TH correction of 2.6 km -Photochemistry correction for local sunrise.

  18. SAGE III vs. SCIAMACHY Solar Occultation (NO2) SCIAMACHY NO2 Processed by Jerome Meyer, Anke Schliesier (Bremen University).

  19. Summary and Conclusion • GOMOS O3 agree to 10% of SAGE II in the 20-50 km. There is an obvious bias at higher altitude, although it shows similar shape. • GOMOS NO2 in general is noisy, but when it averaged, it agree to 10% of SAGE III in the 23-35 km. • SCIAMACHY limb scattering NO2 retrieval by (SAO) is encouraging, and agree to 10% in the 20-33 km. • SCIAMACHY Solar occultation NO2 retrieval by (Bremen Group) is good, and agree to 20-25% in the 18-34 km.
