  2. WI 4-H Art Beat • Grades: 3-5 • Date: March • Length of Trip: 2 days • Location: Upham Woods • Features: a variety of arts projects including music, drama, visual arts, arts and crafts, juggling and more   • Performance by the State 4-H Drama Team • Cost: $20.00

  3. WI 4-H Arts Camp • Grades: 6-8 • Date: October • Length of Trip: 2 days • Location: Upham Woods • learn about music, drama, visual arts, photography, communications, and juggling • rotate through the different Arts tracks each day • participate in a group Arts experience • Cost: $30.00

  4. National 4-H Space Camp • Grades: 6-8 • Date: April • Length of Trip: 5 days • Location: Huntsville, AL • Explore the fascinating world of aerospace, astronomy and technology • complete a simulated Space Shuttle mission, experience training simulators, tour the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and learn about becoming an astronaut. • Cost: $300.00

  8. WI 4-H & Youth Conference • Grades: 7-10 • Date: June • Length of Trip: 4 days • Location: Madison • Over 700 WI youth in attendance • take part in educational seminars • take part in assemblies • Experiences with different projects • meet people from across Wisconsin. • Cost: $125.00

  9. Northern District Winter Camp • Grades: 8-12 • Date: January • Length of Trip: 3 days • Location: Delta • learn Teambuilding and Leadership skills • Meet kids from around the state • Share ideas and concerns about 4-H • Learn different project area skills • Cost: $40.00

  10. WI State Youth Leader Council • Grades: 9-11 • Length of Term: 2 years • meet three times a year: 4-H and Youth Conference, Fall Forum, and a Spring Retreat. • members are active with the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation, Wisconsin State Fair Youth Exhibits Committee, 2007 North Central Volunteer Leader Forum Steering Committee, and other statewide committees and events.

Fall Forum • Grades: 9-12 • Date: November • Length of Trip: 1 day • Location: Wausau / Stevens Point • Wisconsin 4-H Adult Leader Council (ALC) and the Youth Leader Council (YLC) have the opportunity to come together to learn about the different things happening in 4-H Youth Development and to help plan and evaluate statewide programs. • Delegates participate in open discussions and educational sessions • gives each county the opportunity to have a voice • Cost: $0.00

  13. WI State Showcase Singers • Grades: 9-13 • Length of Term: 1 year • 4-H Show choir • Performances at the WI State Fair, WI Farm Technology Days, WI 4-H & Youth Conference, and numerous county fairs throughout the state • Cost: $360.00

  14. WI State Art Team • Grades: 9-13 • Length of Term: 1 year • Create artwork and set up the art exhibit at the 4-H Conference • Behind the scenes tours of museums and participate in other art related experiences • Teach conference sessions on how to lead art programs • Cost: $360.00

  15. WI State Press Team • Grades: 9-13 • Length of Term: 1 year • Take photographs • Create PowerPoint presentation for Youth Conference • Support Youth Conference website • Cost: $150.00

  16. WI State Drama Team • Grades: 9-13 • Length of Term: 1 year • Cast members create script, design the sets / props and rehearse their multiple roles for each of the performance • Perform at the Youth Conference and at the State Fair • Drama Technicians are also required • Cost: $375.00

Key Award • Grades: 9-12 • Highest 4-H Award given • Must have been a 4-H member for at least three years • Represents 4-Her’s who have demonstrated growth in their 4-H involvement, development, and applied their leadership skills and actively participated in the functions of their 4-H club and community • It is recommended that applicants have applied for Citizenship, Leadership, and Achievement Awards

Citizenship Washington Focus • Grades: 10-12 • Date: June & July • Length of Trip: 9 days • Location: Washington D.C. • learn the importance of civic and social responsibilities as they relate to the development of better citizens and leaders • participatory workshops, speakers, committee work, field trips and social events • Cost: $500.00

  19. National 4-H Congress • Grades: 10-12 • Date: November • Length of Trip: 5 days • Location: Atlanta, Georgia • learn new skills in leadership, community service and multi-cultural integration • attend workshops and seminars • participate in discussion groups on issues facing our country today and moderate a town hall meeting at which they share the results of those discussions • Cost: $500.00

National 4-H Conference • Grades: 10-12 • Date: March • Length of Trip: 5 days • Location: Washington D.C. • Each participant selects an issue (i.e., education, promotion, environment, violence) and works with other youth from across the country to develop plans that help direct future 4 H programming • One day is spent on Capitol Hill meeting with legislators and touring. • Cost: $500.00

National Dairy Conference • Grades: 10-12 • Date: October • Length of Trip: 4 days • Location: Madison, WI • in conjunction with World Dairy Expo • learn about production, processing, marketing and use of dairy products • develop a broader understanding of careers available in dairy production, biotechnology, genetics, marketing and other selected areas • Cost: $150.00

Co-Op Y.E.S. • Grades: 10-12 • Date: April • Length of Trip: 2 days • Location: Wisconsin Rapids, WI • Participants will learn the purpose, operation and scope of cooperative business and economy in a fun and educational environment. • Participants also explore career possibilities and meet youth leaders from across Wisconsin and Minnesota. • Cost: $40.00

FINLAND Ages: 15-18 can home stay Date: June - July Pre Trip to Chicago for two days Length of Trip: 4 weeks Cost: must fundraise $1000.00 still owe $1562.50 *Plus round trip travel from home to Chicago Learn about Finnish culture while experiencing daily life with your host family Discuss issues related to the environment, world issues, etc. with another culture Develop life long friendships Better know and understand yourself WI Outbound Program

Host Families • Grades: High School Students • Date: August to June • Length: 11 months • Youth from Japan, Korea, or Eurasia • Provide an international, cross-cultural experience for your family, your community, and your 4-H organization • Helping young people develop their leadership and communication skills
