Bert Mulder, associate professor, and Else Rose Kuiper, director, present a project aimed at increasing social quality in neighborhoods through internet-supported social activities. The project, "The Art of Seduction," encourages people to engage in creative and self-expressive activities online. With 450 digital living rooms and 120 subsidized rooms, the initiative has garnered over 100,000 visits, enhancing social skills and internet access. The project's results include heightened community engagement, improved computer literacy, and expanded e-society training. By combining social activities and simple internet tools, the approach fosters greater social cohesion and ICT competence. This initiative has the potential for future expansion to other cities and collaborations on a European level.
