Project Agreement Amendments Project Scope Change for Any modification to project agreement or proposal (e.g., # acres planted, install rock barb instead of log jam, change type of assessment) Construction Contract Change orders that significantly alter project scope Project Location Change Add or remove worksite or property Special Condition Change

Project Agreement Amendments Cost Increase or Change % Match • If your project costs rise, and • You have little control over the conditions, and • You’ve worked hard to contain costs, and • You’ve explored alternatives to meet intent of your agreement, and • You’ve looked for other funding sources… You may request a cost increase for elements in your Project Agreement www.rco.wa.gov/documents/manuals&forms/Manual_18.pdf

Project Agreement Amendments Time Extension Amendment Time Limit – 18 months to 3 years Project Complete Date Milestone = End of Contract Submit time extension request at least 60 days prior to contract end date Not guaranteed – amendments requiring re-appropriation of funds receive additional scrutiny Big Ben, London Manual #7
