  3. Professional Experience Year WHEN IS IT? • Between the 3rd and 4th years of undergraduate study HOW LONG IS IT? • Lasts 12-16 months: September (or May) until August of the following year

Professional Experience Year • APPLICATION • PROCESS • PLACEMENT STATUS: • part-time student • Pay part-time incidental fees • OSAP: • Start repayment 6 months after full time status ends • Stop repayment when full-time status resumes in 4th year • CREDIT: • PEY listed on your transcript as a non-academic credit • SALARY: $25k to $45K PREPARATION • Development workshops • Resume development • Resume review • Cover letter writing • Interview preparation • Mock interviews • Working in industry HOW TO APPLY • Successful candidates notified within 2-4 weeks, pay a $100 non-refundable application fee • Once a placement is secured, a $850 placement fee will be charged • PLACE PRO
