Recruit A Friend Today • Recruit A Friend Today – Recruitment Initiative for active craft began December 1, 2013. • Incentive for new member; receives 3 months of no dues from date of signing up. • Incentive for recruiter; receives $50 for each Regular and $25 for each Relief signed up that stays employed for those first 3 months of membership. • As of 5/09/2014 – A total of 3661 Membership Applications have been Processed, 150 Regulars and 3511 Reliefs. • Pending Incentive Payments to Recruiters $95,275. • Potential Annual Dues Generated $621,488.

Evaluated Compensation SystemTime Standards Project • Description of the Overall Plan • Panel has defined 18 projects that are in various stages of development ranging from 2 or 3 that are near completion, to several that are underway, to a few that are still on the drawing board • The Panel has retained a team of professional engineers affiliated with the Institute of Industrial Engineers to work on developing standards for various work activities

  8. Load Leveling Concept • Current color coding policy uses Sunday as a "day" when computing the intended delivery day. This results in 2 days of receipt being scheduled for Monday delivery. • Revised color coding policy will not include Sunday as a "day" when calculating the delivery day. This results in 2 days of receipt being scheduled for Wednesday delivery and moves one of the heaviest receipt days (Friday) to Tuesday delivery. • ONLY applies to Standard mail processed at P&DC. No other mail is affected by the plan.
