  1. Aim: How do we format an Annotated Bibliography? Do Now: Where are you in your research? Do you have your 2 secondary sources? Is one of them a book?

  2. What is an Annotated Bibliography? • An annotated bibliography is a list of citations to book, articles, essays, etc. followed by a brief description of each source. • The point of the annotated bibliography is to inform the reader of the relevance of your sources to your final research paper.

  3. Format • Last name, Firstname. Title of Book. City of Publication: Publisher, Year of Publication. Medium of Publication. Provide a paragraph that summarizes what this work offers. Be as specific as possible. What can you learn from this source? Make a statement about how this work will be useful to your paper. • https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/614/01/

  4. Provide this heading format. Make sure to provide your research question at the top. • Use Times New Roman font. • Your entire document should be double spaced. Don’t use any extra spacing. • There should be 1 inch margins all around. You should indent everything after the first line of your citation.
