Personal Pronoun Chart: Discussion on what it MEANS?  • & How To use it. • Hand Back essays and collect back for writing folders: • (If on grade book return) Diagramming Sentences Packet • PRE-READING activities for The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet • Social Offenses: fill out set aside for start of class tomorrow • Perfect Mate: read over directions ~ partner discussion ~fill out parents have until Monday to complete their side: • both sides filled out Due Monday November 6

Wednesday, October 30 • Go over Social Offenses and discuss.  • Write a Poem & Share a Poem: Prepare for tomorrow! • Halloween poetry: Share whole class. • Poetic BASICS: Identify elements of poetry: Rhyme, personification, similes, repetition, metaphors, irony, alliteration • 1. Find a poem to read aloud in class • 2. Identify two poetic elements ( be prepared to say and explain them) • 3. Write a poem and create a with a visual support

  6. Thursday, October 31 • Share poems!!! Bring snacks!

  7. Friday November 1st • Explain extra credit show reviews • Monday sign up to work at concessions and tickets • Work on set? Buy a shirt for show. $14 • Quizzes: Vocabulary 9 • Pronoun Chart • Editing symbols • Silent Read and Share original poetry due Monday • Blue and Pink sheets for R & J due Monday (Only reminded 6th hour)
