Comprehensive Web Harvesting Solutions for Danish Websites: A 370TB Indexing Overview

Since 2005, our dedicated team has harvested data from all Danish (.dk) websites four times a year, amassing over 370TB of information. Our system processes around 100 special sites daily, ensuring compliance with explicit laws stating that all public data must be accessible for harvesting (ELAG 2014). Utilizing an optimized sharding and search architecture, we offer efficient indexing and retrieval capabilities with an estimated final index size of 20-24TB. For inquiries, contact Toke Eskildsen at te@statsbiblioteket.dk.
