  9. About.com defines social bookmarking sites as “sites that allow users to post their favorite sites, using tags (or keywords) to categorize and organize them; then other users can take these bookmarks and add them to their own collection or share them with even more users.”

  10. In other words . . . Social bookmarking sites are websites that allow you to store the addresses of your favorite websites on-line so that you can easily access them and share them with others.
