Seven Monkeys (Steve Chapman, Dragonfly) • Quite simply my stock lesson: so simple, so effective... • They read the text • They discuss/try to remember what they read • Read the text to them, they create picture notes at the same time • Discuss/decode their picture notes with a partner – add in anything they have missed out • They place key words onto their picture notes • They move from 2s into 4s to check all their answers • Show the text/answers again so they can make final additions/changes

  7. I'm Helen I'm going to the Valley School. I like school sometimes for my friends here. I'm studying nine GCSEs. Drama is my favorite subject because I like acting. I like sports too because I like playing hockey. I hate it with a strict history teacher in the case. I do not dress like school - it's boring and old-fashioned. I want to wear jeans every day.
