Students will practice previewing, reading, and reflecting on "The Most Dangerous Game" in small groups. By the end, each group will present one QNT on the board.

Preliminaries • Pre-class (10 classwork points): list at least 3 activities good readers perform while they read.
Objective: • The students will be able to improve their reading comprehension by taking notes independently while they read in the form of QNTs.
Review: QNTs • Be sure you can define the following: • Quotes • Notes • Thoughts
Focus Lesson: QNT Practice • Student demonstrations: • Previewing skills: “The Most Dangerous Game” through teacher instruction • Reading: instructing teacher when to stop • Reflection: students direct teacher about QNT • Small Groups (30 classwork pts.): • Divide in groups of 4 (max.) • Each group will be given a range of 5 pages to read and reflect. • Each group must take at least 3 QNTs.
Closing Activity • Each group will write one QNT on the board.
