  49. Directional and Non-Directional Verbs: Some verbs change their movement to indicate the subject and object of the verb—they incorporate the locations of the subject and object pronouns. These verbs are called directional verbs. Some of these verbs are: SHOW TELL HELP GIVE ASK LOOK-AT SENDPAY Note: You do not sign the object pronoun in these types of sentences except in emphatic forms. Other verbs like KNOW, HAVE, WANT, NEED, AND REMEMBE do not change their movement and do not incorporate the pronouns. Directional Verbs
