    1. The Day A Cripple Man Danced In Church!

    2. Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. 2And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; 3who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. 4And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, "Look at us." 5So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them Acts 3:1-5 (NKJV)

    3. 6Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." 7And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them--walking, leaping, and praising God. 9And all the people saw him walking and praising God. 10Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. Acts 3:6-10 (NKJV)

    4. 1. If we are going to see people healed then we must become a people of prayer.

    5. Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days. Dan 6:10 (NKJV)

    6. The early church gave themselves to prayer. It wasnt an afterthought. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers. Acts 1:14 (NKJV)

    7. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Acts 2:42 (NKJV)

    8. So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: "Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them, Acts 4:24 (NKJV)

    9. Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high." 50And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. Luke 24:49-50 (NKJV)

    10. but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word." 5And the saying pleased the whole multitude. Acts 6:4-5 (NKJV)

    11. And when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, "What is it, lord?" So he said to him, "Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God. Acts 10:4 (NKJV)

    12. And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, "Why could we not cast it out?" 29So He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting." Mark 9:28-29 (NKJV)

    13. So they went out and preached that people should repent. 13And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them. Mark 6:12-13 (NKJV)

    14. 2. When it comes to healing, Gods timing is important.

    15. Healing is in many ways a mystery. Why one is healed and another not is beyond explanation. However one thing I know God is just.

    16. Here we see a man cripple from birth. How many times had Jesus and the disciple walked past him before?

    17. Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. 3In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, John 5:2-3 (NKJV)

    18. Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk." John 5:8 (NKJV) One man in a crowd received his healing that day.

    19. The anointing is helpful in healing. Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them.[ Luke 5:17 (NKJV)

    20. On occasion Jesus healed everyone. When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, Matt 8:16 (NKJV)

    21. Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus' feet, and He healed them. 31So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel. Matt 15:30-31 (NKJV)

    22. And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon's Porch. 13Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly. 14And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, 15so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. 16Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed. Acts 5:12-16 (NKJV)

    23. 3. Healing comes when God imparts faith. Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." 7And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them--walking, leaping, and praising God. Acts 3:6-8 (NKJV)

    24. And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother's womb, who had never walked. 9This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, 10said with a loud voice, "Stand up straight on your feet!" And he leaped and walked. Acts 14:8-10 (NKJV)

    25. 4. When God heals He gets all the praise. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. 14And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. Acts 4:13-14 (NKJV)
