  3. Mohenjo-Daro was built in about 3000 B.C. When? Mohenjo-Daro was discovered in 1992 By R.D. Banerji.

  4. Mohenjo-Daro is in southern Asia. Where? The area Mohenjo-Daro is in is also called the Indian subcontinent.

  5. How did they live • Each home in Mohenjo-Daro had a bathing and drainage system. • The homes in Mohenjo-Daro were made out of equal sized bricks.

  6. What did they have • They had a pool size bath tub. • They also had to some toys. The toys were small stone tablets. The Newcomers had to migrated across the icy passes of the Hindu Kush Mountains.

  7. What did they dress in • They dressed in robes. • The girls dressed in gold necklace.

  8. Religion • The people of Mohenjo-Daro practiced Buddhism. • The people of Harappa cities also practiced Buddhism.

Working in Mohenjo-Daro • Harappan builders and engineers were very skilled • The skilled workers carved beautiful figures from small squares of stone • Potters made jar, cooking bowls, and other containers • Metalworkers made everything from copper fish hooks to razors. They also made they also made fine statues of cast sand bronze.
